El Gouna Library is a nonprofit technological and cultural extravaganza in a breathtaking architectural setup! Honored to be the primary branch of the renowned Bibliotheca Alexandrina, El Gouna Library has online resources of over 380,000 digitized books and manuscript collections.
A main reading room, private study rooms (equipped with PCs), an outdoor courtyard with reading booths and a cafeteria welcome patrons.
The library has a small endearing museum where you can see replicas of ancient Egyptian statues, paintings and artefacts.

The main attraction of the Library for visiting guests / tourists is the Culturama multimedia show that is projected on 9 panoramic screens and presented by a live presenter and / or recorded!
- Pharaonic, Coptic, Islamic and Modern time periods are covered in a 43 minutes presentation, in different languages on every day of the week at different times from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
- This multimedia Culturama show is an unforgettable experience that is both a great introduction to actually visiting Egypt’s treasured sites and/or means of providing further insight/information on them.
- The Culturama Hall can comfortably seat up to 70 guests.
The Embassy of Knowledge – El Gouna Library is the primary branch of the Library of Alexandria (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) and has an on-line library of hundreds of thousands of books (a number that increases everyday) as well as rare book and manuscript collections.
