Fanadir Hotel offers modern comfort and blissful quietude in a natural environment in El Gouna on the Red Sea coast. Opened in 2010 as part of Abu Tig Marina’s latest development, it overlooks the North Basin and its luxury yachts. Ideal to escape the crowds, this serene setting is merely a few steps away from the main attractions of the marina’s South Basin, including cafés and restaurants, bars and nightclubs, and a wide array of boutiques and souvenir shops.
The Fanadir Hotel’s ideal location, combined with Egypt’s mild climate, makes it a perfect choice for holidaymakers seeking active seaside vacations, and in particular for kitesurfers. Within walking distance, Mangroovy Beach has shallow waters and consistent winds; it is home to three kitesurfing stations and a windsurf center offering beginner classes, private tuition, and supervised freeriding areas.
The 20 guest rooms of this boutique hotel offer pampering amenities in an Arabic-inspired architecture and décor. Sky-blue tones create a calm and comforting atmosphere, while mirrors on two of the hotel’s facades reflect marina views around the pool. The Fanadir Hotel has been awarded a 5-star Green Star Hotel certification for its environmental friendliness. The hotel agrees to follow the green concept of the city of El Gouna: all rooms are equipped with energy saving cards that activate electricity, as well as magnetic switches that turn off the air conditioning when the windows are open; Room water heater is solar powered, water saving devices. Low energy light bulbs are used throughout the hotel, and the pool water is heated by oil rather than electric boiler. The Fanadir Hotel has received the 5 * Green Star Hotel certification for its commitment to environmental protection.
